All the 6 Series convertibles and coupes come with a 4.8 litre V8 engine rated to deliver 360 hp and torque of around 360 pound-feet. The 3 different transmissions in the vehicle allow you to access varying performance as well as driving effort.
Fuel economy of the vehicle is decent with the engine architecture. It can achieve 15 miles per gallon in the city and 22 miles per gallon on the highways.
