The BMW 6 series 2008 coupe was designed with efficient energetic technologies to enhance performance, decrease consumption of fuel as well as CO2 emissions.

New Diesel Engine

It was a first diesel-powered luxury 2+2 Grand Tour. It was highly acclaimed by a twin-turbo diesel engine that matched with 2-door convertible and coupe of marquee to get nominal motoring and high-performance. This coupe was an improved 6 and 8-cylinder petrol model powered by an energetic V10-engine, whereas all other versions received slight restyling to support technological changes.

The 2008 BMW 6 series was loaded with many technical and non-technical features to upgrade comfort and moving behavior of car. The six-cylinder aluminum and magnesium engine deigned in this coupe had double-VANSO variable valve technology and an efficient direction injection. These high performance dynamics were upgraded to 35.8 miles per gallon. Due to usage of these technologies, the CO2 emissions were decreased by 15 percent.


Considering its exterior, it was developed with larger wheelbase and improved dynamic body fit. Interior of this car also included many advanced technologies, and there was a decent amount of improvement in suspension and performance. Because of improved suspension and performance features, comfort in its interior as well as fuel economy of this car was drastically improved.
